Make Treats For The Birds

Making treats for the birds is an activity the whole family can enjoy!

 

Stuffed Pine ConeSuet Stuffing For Pine Cones

1 cup- Chunky Peanut Butter

1 cup- WBU Simply Suet® (pure rendered suet)

2 ½ cups- coarse yellow cornmeal

Any WBU Seed Blend (Deluxe Blend suggested), Raisins and/or Peanuts (optional)

Mix peanut butter, suet, and cornmeal together first. Next, stir in birdseed, raisins, or peanuts if desired.

 

Pine Cone Feeder

Pack in suet stuffing (recipe shown above) into pine cones. Roll pine cones in additional WBU Seed Blend. Hang with a string or ribbon from a tree.  

 

Bagel FeederBagel Feeder

Split a bagel in half and allow it to dry overnight. Spread Jim's Birdacious Bark Butter® on each side and sprinkle with WBU Seed Blend (No-Mess or TreeNutty Plus preferred). Tie a string through the hole of the bagel and hang it from a tree or hook.
